These terms apply when you browse our website or purchase a book from Forged Excellence By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
Forged Excellence is an independent bookseller based at 24 Story Lane, Brooklyn, NY. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Forged Excellence
Products & availability
We offer a carefully selected collection of signature hardback editions. We take care to describe and photograph them accurately, but colours may vary slightly between screens.
All orders are subject to availability. If a book becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and issue a full refund for that item.
Prices & payment
Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and delivery charges are displayed before you confirm an order.
Payment must be authorised before an order is accepted. We do not store complete payment-card details on our website.
Orders
Your order confirmation acknowledges that we received your request; the contract is formed when we dispatch your books. Please check your email and delivery details carefully.
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us promptly. We can help when the parcel has not yet been packed, but cannot guarantee changes after dispatch.
Shipping & delivery
Most orders are dispatched within one working day. Delivery estimates are guides, not guarantees, and may be affected by carriers, customs or events outside our control.
International customers are responsible for any local import duties, taxes or customs charges. Risk in the books passes to you when they are delivered.
Returns & refunds
Unread books in their original condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Contact us before sending a return so we can provide instructions.
If a book arrives damaged or incorrect, notify us with your order details and a photograph. We will arrange a replacement or refund, including reasonable return costs.
Website use
You may use this website for lawful personal shopping and information. You must not disrupt the site, attempt unauthorised access, copy its content commercially or misuse its forms.
All text, artwork, branding and site design belong to Forged Excellence or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Liability & contact
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from use of the site or delays outside our reasonable control.
